What this is
A music-video studio that runs in your browser. You give it a track; it listens to the actual audio — the kick, the build, the drop, the breakdown — and choreographs a whole video around it in real time. Then it records that video, with your audio already baked in, as an MP4 you can upload anywhere.
Nothing installs. Nothing uploads. Your track never leaves your computer — all the analysis and rendering happens right here in the browser.
Make a video in three steps
- Load your trackHit LOAD TRACK and pick any audio file — MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC. Or just drag it anywhere onto the window. No track handy? Hit PLAY A DEMO and watch it move.
- Pick your shape and your momentFRAME sets 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 4:5 for the Instagram feed, 1:1 for square. The WAVEFORM strip at the top appears once a track is loaded — drag the handles to grab just the drop, or tap 15s / 30s / 60s. AUTO-FADE puts a clean fade on both ends.
- Hit RECThe Auto-Director builds the whole video while it records — you don't have to touch anything. Press REC again to stop, and the MP4 lands in your downloads folder. That's the entire job.
Then, if you want to drive it yourself
Turn AUTO-DIRECTOR off and every control below it is yours. Change the CORE (the thing in the middle — 18 of them, including your own logo), pick a PALETTE, drop in your own artwork and clips, save the result as a PRESET so every release in the series looks like it belongs to you.
The left side is the operator. The right side is the visualizer. Nothing you do here can break anything — hit ◇ PLAY A DEMO and turn knobs until it looks like yours.
The basics
Do I need to install anything? No. It runs entirely in this browser tab. Nothing to download, nothing to keep updated.
Is my music uploaded anywhere? No. Analysis, rendering and recording all happen locally on your machine. There is no server that sees your files.
What audio files does it take?Anything your browser can play — MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG.
What do I actually get out of it?An MP4 with your audio already in it. Drops straight into YouTube, Instagram or TikTok with no conversion step.
Which browser should I use?Chrome, or something built on it — Edge, Brave, Arc. That's where recording and MP4 export work properly. Firefox records WebM rather than MP4, and Safari's canvas recording is unreliable on longer clips.
Does it work on my phone? It's built for a desktop or laptop. Recording on mobile browsers is unreliable, so do your exports on a computer.
Can I save a project and come back to it?Yes — SAVE PROJECT writes a .konduit file with everything except the audio: your look, trim, labels, artwork, logo, automation and Director settings. Open it later and drop the same track back in. Redoing a video no longer means redoing the work.
Where did my video go?Straight to your browser's normal downloads folder the moment you stop recording.
Making it yours
Can I make vertical videos for TikTok or Reels?Yes. Set the Frame to 9:16 — or 4:5 for the Instagram feed, 1:1 for square — and it exports true to that shape at full resolution, no bars.
Can I make a Spotify Canvas? One click. It sets 9:16, takes a short loop from your start point and exports a Canvas-spec MP4. Canvas is muted by design, so that one is video only.
Can I use just the chorus, or a 30-second clip?Yes. The waveform at the top lets you drag handles to any section, or tap 15s / 30s / 60s. Auto-fade gives you a clean in and out.
Can I use my own artwork or video clips?Yes, in the paid studio. Load as many as you like and they cycle automatically — on the beat, on drops, or on song sections. No timeline to line up.
Can I put my own logo on it?Two ways, both paid: as a corner watermark, or as the actual core — your logo becomes the centrepiece the whole video moves around. With the Director running it works your logo into the rotation rather than hiding it.
Two renders of the same track look different. Why?They shouldn't, and by default they don't — the same track on the same TAKE always choreographs identically. If you want a different version, that is what RE-ROLL is for.
It came out too dark, too bright, or too busy. The Director adapts to the track, so a dense track gives you a dense video. INTENSITY dials the whole thing up or down, Hue travel controls how much colour moves, and Motion & Geometry controls the density.
Buying and unlocking
What's free and what's paid?Free: the Auto-Director builds your whole video, editable corner labels, the waveform trimmer and MP4 export — with a small KONDUIT watermark. STUDIO $49: no watermark plus the entire studio — 18 cores, 28 palettes, 12 looks, your own logo as the core, your art and clips with 12 art FX, all four frames, Spotify Canvas, motion and 3D geometry, the automation timeline, project save, unlimited presets. LIVE $99: everything in STUDIO plus the performance rig — mic or line input, system and tab audio, MIDI learn across 10 knobs and 11 pads, and MIDI clock sync to CDJs or Ableton.
How do I unlock it?Your license key is emailed the moment you buy. Paste it into the box in the left panel and hit UNLOCK. It works in any browser you paste it into — it's per person, not per machine.
My key isn't working.Usually a stray space when pasting. Paste it fresh with nothing either side. Still stuck, email Bruce@konduit.club with the key and the email you bought with.
Do you offer refunds?Yes — a 30-day money-back guarantee through Gumroad.
Can I use the videos commercially?Yes. The videos you make are yours — releases, socials, client work, all fine. You just can't resell or redistribute the Reactor itself.
